No Onion. No Garlic. No Exceptions..
In Braj, Food Is an Offering
Pure vegetarian. Fully sattvic — no onion, no garlic, ever. Non-vegetarian food has never entered this property and never will, and we would rather say that plainly on a website than have the conversation at the gate.
If you have travelled to Braj and spent the trip reading menus carefully, you can stop. There is nothing here to check.
What That Actually Means Here
Fully Sattvic
No onion, no garlic, in any dish, at any meal. Not a special request you have to make — simply how the kitchen cooks.
Jain & Special Diets
Jain meals and dietary needs are prepared without fuss and without a performance. Tell us at booking and it is handled.
From Our Own Beds
Through the winter months, much of what reaches your table is picked that same morning. Through the rest of the year it isn't — the farm cannot supply a kitchen twelve months out of twelve, and we are not going to pretend it does.
A Cooking Session
An afternoon in the kitchen, learning to cook sattvic properly — which is mostly learning what to leave out, and why the food is better for it.

A Strictly Vegetarian Property
Non-vegetarian food is not permitted anywhere on this farm — not in the dining hall, not in the rooms, not carried in from outside. A penalty of ₹10,000 applies if it is found.
That is on the website, and not buried in a terms page, because we would rather you knew before you booked than after you arrived. Guests who come to Braj for Braj have never once had a problem with it.
